Braemar College is Toronto’s leading post-secondary pathway provider, with decades of experience, and top college and university partners.
Since 1995, we have helped thousands of international students enter Canadian post-secondary institutions.
Braemar College is the only school in Toronto with official partnerships with the University of Toronto, York University, Ryerson University, and the University of Waterloo.
We begin by giving you credits for work you have completed already, as well as your abilities. We use a simple placement test in math to make sure you have all the skills required.
We then prepare a detailed study plan which shows all the courses you would need to be qualified to the college or university program of your choice. Our graduates receive the Ontario Secondary School Diploma, which is the standard diploma for students in this province. It is the same diploma issued to students who have studied in class.
We offer our classes in two formats. One is live stream format, which runs in the morning here in Canada, but at 7:15 PM in Bangladesh, and that goes until 10pm. Your fellow classmates would be students from all around the world.
You can see what one of our classes look like here.
The other format is called asynchronous, which means you work online at your own pace during the day. Usually our students would be expected to work for about 2.5 hours a day on this kind of course. You would be supported by a course mentor, with whom you would plan your time, and your work would be evaluated by our teachers, who would of course also provide feedback.
The fees for this will depend somewhat on the results of your placement tests, but for the full Online Foundation Pathway is now being offer for 40% off our regular fees.

Braemar College’s Express Option Foundation is among the fastest in the world. Qualified students (e.g., with IGCSE’s, or the equivalent of three years high school study) complete the final year of the OSSD program in only five months (typically February to mid-June). This is only a quarter of the time usually required to complete A levels (approximately two years).
Whether students start their pathway in grade 10, 11, 12, the studyplan is customized to take into account both the studies they have completed, as well as their short- and long-term academic goals.
Our university partners include the University of Toronto, the University of Waterloo, York University and Ryerson University.
College partners include George Brown College, Durham College, St. Lawrence College, and Humber College.
How do our university and college partnerships benefit our students?
Trust –The graduates of Braemar College have been going onto post secondary programs since 1995, and our academic track record is solid. Our partners can be confident that our students deserve their marks, and thus will succeed if admitted into a competitive program.
The latest information – Our pathway specialists are continually updated by our partners on any developments or changes to the admissions process.
Collaboration – Braemar College students frequently take part in the initiatives of our partner universities, whether it is a Resume Building workshop by the University of Waterloo, or the Market Simulation Challenge at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Business.
Joint Events – Over the years we have made joint presentations—Canada Pathway Workshops—with our college and university partners in Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Kenya, Nigeria, Vietnam, and Mexico. We also do frequent joint webinars (For more information, and to register for upcoming webinars, click here.)
