Braemar College Uncapped Pathway

International students who want to go to college in Canada face uncertainty with the recent rule changes by the IRCC.

Canadian colleges recruiting international students also face uncertainty. Each institution has a limited number of PALs and so will be looking for ways to maximize their recruitment efforts.

This is where Braemar College’s Uncapped College Pathway can help.

Braemar can be the bridge between students and colleges, or colleges and students, with no PAL required.

FAQ

What’s the advantage of using Braemar’s Pathway program as a bridge to your post secondary partners?

No Provincial Letter of Attestation (PAL) is required for students applying for a study permit for Braemar College. Also, no PAL will be required when students move from Braemar College onto college or university.

Why don’t students applying to Braemar College require a PAL?

The recent changes by IRCC were designed to limit the overall number of students applying to undergraduate programs. Secondary programs (as well as graduate programs) are exempt. Braemar College is a secondary school, therefore no PAL is required.

How long does it take to complete the college pathway program?

In general, a student who has completed the equivalent of grade 11 and have a good level of English and Math, should be able to complete the Pathway in five or seven months. Graduates would receive the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). Students who are only working on their academic skills can finish in five months (two or our 9 week terms).

Is this a new program?

Braemar’s Pathway program has been around since 1995. Over the years we have helped thousands of international students enter postsecondary institutions in Canada and all around the world.

How does commission work?

Our partners would get commission from Braemar as well as any applicable commission from their postsecondary partners.
