The World Scholars Youth Program 2022

Welcome to The World Scholars Youth Program Year 2022 cohosted by Braemar College Toronto, Lumiere International Australia and International Islamic Education Council Republic of Indonesia.

This program will start on July 4th 2022 to August 18th. It is a 7-week program offering accommodations, academic courses, exciting excursions and other fun school activities. Daily meals, Medical Insurance and all textbook and learning materials will also be provided.

Students of this year’s program will immerse with both local and international students as they would be taking two Ontario Secondary School credits. Students would be able to choose their courses from selections of courses that will be made available to them according to their individual math and English level. For both we’d do a placement test. Click “Placement Tests” button bellow if you are a participating student of this year’s program.

Students would also be welcome to join in any of our clubs or activities in daily basis. We have clubs for fitness, yoga, cooking, a school newspaper, and we also have a podcasting studio. All these activities are generally available daily, but as addition to this year’s program, we will be providing two project base activities, where students will be guided by teachers from how to create content through thinking & collecting supporting elements, learn designing process and as the end result producing Newspaper and broadcasting Podcast that can be shared and enjoyed by their family back home.

All Braemar College students, as valued members of the Braemar community, are warmly invited to take part in a range of club and after school activities. You can learn more, and see our Director of Student Experience talking about his programing, in this video.

Our students’ accommodation this year will be delivered by esteemed partners Parkside and CampusOne, who operate world leading student campus accommodation facilities and services for Breamer College and the broader University of Toronto community. Both of these accommodations are located within walking distance from  Braemar Collage. However, a streetcar station are located right in front of both buildings, which enable students to commute between The Collage and Accommodation easily as it they are just short streetcar ride from each other. Click the link below if you would like to find out about our accommodation partner for your reference.

There is a lot going on in the summer—and one of the key features of this program is to balance the academics with fun trips and activities. Over the course of the summer, the main trips include:
