My overall experience at Braemar was great; I met some new friends and received knowledge and experience which will definitely help me in my future life. Thanks to all teachers and students who supported me. I wish everyone to stay healthy and to achieve all their goals in life).”

-Oleksandr Simonov

-Laura Pinto

“Congratulations everyone!!! It is kind of a strange feeling because you always wanted to finish the school as quickly as possible, but now you understand that it was a perfect life experience and a sweet time. This year is our end of school life. Let’s remember all the enjoyable memories and relax during the summer holidays)))”

-Daria Yaniuk

“My experience at Braemar was short, but it felt like a whole adventure. I am really going to miss the teachers, classmates and friends I made along the way. The knowledge I picked up from Braemar will forever live on with me, and build me to become the woman I have painted myself as in my head. I am happy and grateful to my parents for giving me the opportunity of being a part of the Braemar College family.”

-Catherine Halim

Being a part of Braemar College is one of the biggest things that has ever happened to me. I would say my experience in Braemar was epic, being taught by wonderful and interesting teachers has been a big opportunity for me. And I don’t really have a favourite teacher because they are all wonderful and skilled in their own faculty. Being part of this program helped me understand books better and helped me make good friends, and I will urge or advise any one to be part of Braemar College. As a graduating 2021 student of this great community, I plan to study Architectural Engineering in University, get my Masters degree and start my own firm. It has been my pleasure working with you guys and thank you very much for your support and advise, God bless.”

-Victory Praise Divine

“I can’t believe that I am graduating so soon. These two years that I spent in Braemar flew by so fast! The people I met, the friends I made, the things I learned, the struggles I overcame, the skills I developed, and the memories I created over the last two years of my life changed me as an individual so much. I am grateful for this unique and special experience of being a Braemar student and I will never forget this chapter of my life. It’s sad that it has to end so soon and I wish I could stay a bit longer; yet, I still believe that this school has taught me enough to be ready to proceed with the next step of my journey in both academic and mental terms. Thank you, Braemar.”

-Aigerim Chuvakova

“Life is simple. Be yourself, be happy and always be nice to people.”

-Eru Akporowhe

“I have found the place that I call my second home. Thank you Braemar for these amazing memories!”

-Adham Hassan

“We can’t all be the same people; wise, obedient, confident. Spice it up and be yourself! We are all in need of some crazy ideas, appalling behaviour, and bizarre clothing.”

-Marina Ten

“Braemar has been one great experience for me, filled with ups and downs, but overall it was worth every bit.”

-Yash Devani

I would like to express my appreciation for all the teachers who were involved in making me a better person as well as building and motivating me.”

-Salman Dewji

“Congratulations y’all! Wish you guys best of luck in fulfilling your dreams and goals!”

-Duc Lam

Today, I see that I am on the verge of a new beginning. The first day of the rest of my life. As a “technology enthusiast,” I am motivated by the words of Alan Kay, one of America’s finest computer scientists. He said, “The greatest way to predict the future is to invent it.” Some of us, especially our parents, are concerned and wondering about how our lives will turn out. It’s OK to wonder, but I believe it’s also important to remember that our future isn’t something that occurs to us. It is up to us to create.”

-MD Nahid Hasan Adib

“It was my first and last year in Braemar college, but it was special. I met new friends and I still have contact with those who graduated. This year I expanded my knowledge and spent time with joy, due to a friendly atmosphere in class, even while sitting at home and having classes online. I am happy to have had my education at Braemar!”

-Sofiia Kyslenko

“As a Braemar 2021 graduate, I have only one thing to say: Thank you Braemar! Within my days in Braemar, I have learned a lot. Braemar has offered a very well-developed education system to its students to make sure its students are best prepared for their future. I’m glad and blessed to be lucky enough to be one of the Braemar students. Thank you to all the school staff and all the teachers I have encountered that have ever offered me any help. I had my good time in Braemar, and ZOOM. All in all, thank you Braemar, much love.”

-Run-Ting Lin

“Even though I only stayed in Braemar for a year, it was good to make some new friends and learn new things! I could not go to many places due to covid. But I enjoyed going for short walks with my roommate.”

-Madeline Lee

“My experience in Braemar was very nice! I loved the physical school and my home stay. I was also pushed out of my comfort zone, making me more confident facing university in September. I’m yet to fully explore Toronto, but so far it’s been a great city. I hope to go to medical school in the later future :)”

-Aanuoluwa Arowosafe

“It all started in February and I still remember starting the orientation class with Mr. Helsby. One of the best memories was Mr. Helsby asking me to turn off the video just to show off my zoom profile picture with my white guitar. Canadian culture is one of the best in the World and all the people in Braemar, both the classmates and the teachers, are really very helpful and supportive. Moreover, I was lucky enough to get the chance to do classes with Mr. Helsby and had the best term ever!”

-Dibbendu Roy Monti

“After all this time that has passed I look back and I can certainly see myself as another person. During my time in Braemar I did not only learn science, arts, or maths; I learned things that made me become a better version of myself by facing every challenge that studying abroad brings, making a totally new life with new people and new cultures. I remember once, I was very nervous in drama class because I had to present my monologue. Ms. Paul gave us a chance to read our monologue if we wanted to. I was practically panicking and while I had my notes on my phone trying to read them without being too obvious I had to make a fast movement for the scene… and my phone fell from my hand. Everyone in the room was quiet, staring at me to see what I will do next. I did not pick the phone up. I was repeating to myself “the show must go on”. Then I looked at Ms. Paul and saw her smiling at me. It may sound strange but I could actually feel the adrenaline taking over my body and I got some kind of realization in the span of a few seconds. After that I started saying my monologue out loud without hesitating and I could do the whole thing at once. Everyone started clapping and I felt like the whole game had changed. I could actually overcome the difficulties in front of me. I think that we all have some sort of experience like that in high school, where we felt like the main character of our own story, and we develop ourselves to learn and be better every day we live because of it.”
