Course Overview

In this course, you will further extend your skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English for various everyday and academic purposes. You will make short classroom oral presentations, read a variety of adapted and original texts in English, and write using various text forms. In addition, you will expand your academic vocabulary and study skills to facilitate your transition to the mainstream school program. This course will also introduce you to the rights and responsibilities inherent in Canadian citizenship and various current Canadian issues.
