Braemar College has a long tradition of fostering academic excellence.

Along with many other scholarship opportunities, Braemar College graduates also are exclusively qualified for a set of general university entrance scholarships. These include:

To qualify for this award, a student must have accepted an offer of admission from the University of Toronto. The winner is chosen by the University of Toronto, in consultation with the Braemar College academic department, mainly, though not exclusively, on the basis of academic achievement.

This award is named after the school’s founder and first principal, Sheila McDonald, in honour of her compassionate and insightful leadership. To qualify for this award, a student must have accepted an offer of admission from the University of Waterloo. The winner is chosen by the University of Waterloo, in consultation with the Braemar College academic department.

This award is named after the school’s co-founder Robert McDonald. To qualify for this award, a student must have accepted an offer of admission from Ryerson University. The winner is chosen by Ryerson University, in consultation with the Braemar College academic department.

To qualify for this award, a student must have accepted an offer of admission from York University. The winner is chosen by York University, in consultation with the Braemar College academic department.
