Do I need to register for a Braemar College Email Address?

Yes, you do. If you have not already applied for your own email, please use the following link to apply for your own Braemar Email

How do I join my class online?

Your courses for the current term will appear on the homepage of your Canvas account. Once you have accessed your class, you will be able to see all additional info related to that class, and if necessary you will be able to communicate one-on-one with your teacher about anything you need. You will also be supported

If I am studying overseas (not in Canada), how can I be involved in the Braemar Student Experience (activities, events, clubs, etc.)?

Our student activities, clubs and events are ongoing, based on the interest expressed by students throughout the year.

Each of the clubs will make their own decisions about how to include students who are joining us from overseas. This may include, but is not limited to, recorded video sessions, shared documents/resources, virtual message-boards (like Google) and/or chat-rooms (like Zoom), etc. So don’t worry! We will find ways to make you feel included in the student culture at Braemar.

What if I’m taking a Braemar class AND a TVO/ILC Online Class? How do I register, connect with my teachers, discover new information, etc.?

As you can see in the Orientation PPT, there is a difference between the way Braemar classes and TVO/ILC classes are run. If you are taking both, you will have to join both Canvas courses, and follow instructions posted there. If you still have questions about operations afterwards, please email our guidance department (guidance@braemarcollege.com), and they will be happy to assist you!
