Traveling to School

Toronto's Public Transportation System

Toronto has one of North America’s largest and most integrated transit networks. The TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) connects Toronto through subways, buses, streetcars, and Wheel‑Trans, serving 159+ bus routes, 11 streetcar routes, and 3 subway lines, with more than 422 million annual rides. This scale makes it one of the most extensive urban transit systems on the continent.

How to travel to school

Since 1995, our students have been traveling to school using public transportation, which is safe, convenient and relatively inexpensive.

The Braemar College campus is located in the downtown. Most of our students travel between thirty minutes to an hour to come to school from their homestay.

A monthly pass for a high school student is about $128 per month. This allows unlimited travel on the entire TTC network.
