University of Toronto Workshop – Leadership!

Going to the workshop of the University of Toronto was a pleasant experience!! I really learned many things about key aspects of being prepared for university, at the start it was mentioned how important it was to get involved in the university environment, gaining the possibility of a reference letter from a teacher that could be useful for a future hire in a job, but for me it is important to demonstrate commitment to gain experience for the future situations, something really reflexive if you ask me!! Then we got asked some questions related to ourselves, such as our names, favourite food, and with which animal we identify with, an interesting way to express our personality!! As well, we did activities in groups, such as answering some questions related to leadership, motivation, and future desires as well, such as how we wanted to be remembered, as well the teacher shared with us some individual experiences he had with some students at the past. At the end we did an activity in pairs to prepare for a job interview and between us we had to choose one to present, I decided to take take part and despite the nerves I had, I think I did it good!! I consider that this experience at the University of Toronto workshop was interesting and good for myself, I had learned many things about universities in general and remarkably interesting knowledge about leadership!!
