High School

The Braemar College High School Program offers courses from grades 9 to 12. Graduates receive the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).

Founded in 1995, Braemar College is a private, cooed secondary school, located in the downtown of Canada’s largest city, Toronto. We have five annual intakes. Students can begin their studies in September, November, February, April and July.

Learn in Canada

The Canada Experience Program is designed for international high school students who want a Canadian study experience. Students receive Ontario high school credits, which in many cases can be revalidated in the student’s home country.

Study periods can be as short as nine weeks, and as long as an academic year. Students can start in September, November, February, April and July.

With fun, enriching activities, we take advantage of our downtown location, close to some of the Canada’s premier cultural institutions—like the Art Gallery of Ontario, The Royal Ontario Museum, and the Royal Conservatory of Music.

Since 1995 Braemar College has offered students from around the world a flexible, fast and focused pathway into Canada’s top universities.

Students get credit for their math and English skills, and for high school work completed in their home country. With five annual start times, students can begin when it makes sense for them.

English for Academic Purposes

Based on guidelines set out by the Ontario Ministry of Education, this program is designed to improve academic English skills. In addition to reading, writing, speaking and listening, students will learn the essentials needed to succeed in an academic English environment.

Students benefit from our years of experience preparing students from around the world for Canadian college and university programs.  

IELTS preparation material is integrated into the course material. And our Braemar College English Proficiency Matrix helps track genuine progress in the essential English skills.

Elite English Teen

English courses for teenagers from around the world, with flexible study periods, lively classes, and a strong academic focus.

All English levels are welcome. Placement tests ensure every student is taught at the right level. Courses include both English as a second language, and English literacy development.

More advanced students will sharpen their English skills and broaden their cultural knowledge through drama and essential works of English literature.
